You Can Serve Jesus by Holding Babies
The Gospel writer, Luke, chose to say this about Jesus.
Luke 18:15 (NIV2011)
People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them.
Jesus loved babies; he cared for the “little ones.” That’s one of the reasons Westerville Christian Church is such a special church. We care about babies and children just like Jesus did. We want young people to grow up hearing about Jesus, that he would place his hands on their heads and hearts.
Do you have a place to serve at WCC? If the answer is yes, fantastic, keep serving. If the answer is no, would you consider our nursery?
Our WCKid’s Director, Angie Biniker, would love to connect with you. Angie told me we have two nursery classes during the 9:30a service and one at the 11a service. She would like to create a third class at the 9:30a service. We must have three adults for each class. Would you be one of those adults? Here’s an idea, serve in the nursery at 9:30a and then worship Jesus at 11a.
If you have questions or want to connect with Angie, email her at angie@wcchurch.life.
A nursery allows parents or a single Mom or Dad to focus on what Jesus is saying to them. It also allows their baby to be held, loved, and prayed over at the same time. You could serve Jesus by holding someone’s baby. That sounds like a win-win to me.
