Do I Really Trust God?

And without faith it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. 8 By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.

Hebrews 11:6&8

Our theme scripture says, “And without faith (trust), it is impossible to please God.”

As Greg was preaching this past Sunday on giving and where we place our trust, I thought of our Fearless Campaign and how we demonstrated our faith and trust in God by making pledges to improve our campus, reach more people, meet needs, and heal hurts. Thank you for demonstrating your trust in God through the Fearless Campaign!

Here's the update:

The ceiling above the platform is painted, and the wall at the back of the platform, which will support the video wall, will be constructed. Final steps are being completed for the baptistry to be placed. A separate HVAC system has been installed for the sound booth and video production studio. Worship chairs have been ordered, with anticipated delivery in September.

WCCares Update

Ceilings have been painted in the WCCares space.

The exterior sidewalk/access to the west WCCares entrance is complete, as well as rough-in electric and plumbing. The ceiling is painted! Preparations for the glass garage door and fire shutter are taking place. Furnishing selections have been made and are being ordered.

Office Suite Update

Lots of work has been completed in the Office Suite since our last update. The large structural beam mentioned last month has been installed. Electrical rough-in, insulation, windows, blocking, and rough-in drywall are complete! We are beginning to see the final layout more clearly. In the days to come, new exterior stucco will be installed, and drywall will be finished. Our office furniture has been ordered. We are working diligently with the counseling organization that will be operating the counseling center.

Plans for a new monument sign at our entrance have been submitted to the City of Westerville for permitting. A plan for new trees and shrubs in our parking lot islands, east property line, and southwest property line is being submitted to the City of Westerville Zoning for approval.  Expecting installation is this Fall. Thank you to all who helped clear the property lines making this all possible! And thanks to all who helped themselves to the firewood!

YOU are Making it Happen!

Without the pledges and gifts from so many people, these critical projects and improvements would simply not happen. Faithful giving has made this all possible. We simply would not be doing this work without the financial gifts from so many. Thanks for trusting!

Pledge Update:

Total Given: $1,346,522.67
