Connect Fest Starts in Two Days

We’re continuing a series called “We are…” this coming Sunday, August 14.

My message this Sunday is “We are a family that gives.” I want us to see that God has given all believers spiritual gifts so we can speak up for God or serve God. Our spiritual gifts allow us to give back to God by either reaching people or building up the body of Christ. Before worship and after worship, everyone will have the opportunity to meet multiply ministry leaders through Connect Fest.

What is Connect Fest?

Every ministry at WCC will be represented in our lobby. Each ministry has specific needs. Maybe those needs would match up with your spiritual gift.  Maybe that ministry would coincide with your personality or your experiences. 

Here’s the “so what?” God wants you to serve him. 

He wants you to enjoy serving him. God would not ask me to sing without giving me the gift to sing. I promise you, God has not given me the gift to sing. At least not in public.

Come this Sunday and worship Jesus. Come and check out all the ministry displays. If you are not sure a ministry is for you, just give it a try, but know this. We were meant to imitate Jesus and Jesus came to serve, not be served.
