Playland Manager
General Description
The Playland Manager is responsible for the leadership, administration and management of the Playland under the supervision of the WCKids Minister.
Essential Job Functions
1. Manage the scheduling and executing of Playland party rentals.
a. Using a scheduling application, maintain the rental schedule.
b. Communicate guidelines and expectations with renters.
c. Work with the Office Manager on payments and finance management.
d. Train, schedule and supervise paid Party Hosts.
2. Oversee Open Play hours.
a. Train, schedule and supervise attendants.
b. Communicate Open Play hours and changes in hours with the Marketing and Communications Director.
c. Work with outside groups wanting to use or tour the Playland.
3. Maintain the cleanliness of the Playland.
a. Ensure the Playland is cleaned after parties/open play hours and between overall scheduled weekly cleanings.
b. Work closely with the Facilities Manager on purchasing cleaning products and scheduling various cleanings.
c. Keep kitchen cabinets, refrigerator and check-in desk cabinets organized and stocked.
4. Maintain the Playland budget.
5. Maintain Playland social media platforms.
6. Coordinate with WCKids Minister use of Playland for ministry purposes.
7. Coordinate with SPARK Directors use of Playland for preschool purposes.
8. Communicate with Marketing and Communications Director regarding print items needed, WCC
social media communication and any other church-wide marketing and communication.
