WCC Communities
Founded in 1968, over fifty years of ministry has made us diverse and multi-generational. Bringing along our God-given differences that make us unique individuals, we come together on the most common of ground: we are each a valued child of God with a purpose in life.
WCC is intentional in creating communities within our church that meet each person right where they are and point them toward where God desires them to be.
Groups
God never intended for you to do life alone. You were created for community and connection with others. No matter your stage in life, there is a community group for you.
Kids
WCKids is devoted to guiding children to learn to love God with their heads through a firm foundation in God's Word, their hearts by developing a relationship with Him, and their hands by sharing their faith story and serving others like Jesus did.
Newborn – 2 years
Our program seeks to provide a safe, nurturing and loving environment so that parents may feel confident in the care of their children.
3 years – Kindergarten
We engage preschoolers through fun Bible lessons, hands-on learning activities, praise and worship time. Our Preschool classes are divided up into three year olds, four & five year olds and Kindergarteners.
1st – 3rd Grade
The Sunday experience includes graded Bible classes and a large group worship experience geared specifically to the needs of elementary children.
4th – 5th Grade
We believe this is a significant age that requires a specific type of focus to encourage them in their spiritual development. Various social events, retreats and concerts are available to pre-teens to deepen their relationships with each other, their adult sponsors and their personal relationship with Jesus.
Special Needs → We believe that no child or family should feel reservations about coming to church because of special needs. On Sunday mornings, WCKids offers one-on-one friendships for any child who needs some extra care and attention. Trained adult volunteers, WCBuddies, will be in classrooms to assist in giving children the best Sunday morning experience.
Students
Westerville Student Ministry offers students the opportunity to connect with each other, and God, through life-changing conferences, Community Groups, student led worship services and various outings and events. Our desire is for each student to continue their walk with Jesus far beyond the student years.
