Donate your Gently Used Furniture to Help our Friday Fare Families

Are you looking to get rid of some gently used furniture or household items in your house?

The Furniture Drive is back! You can support our Friday Fare families by donating gently used furniture to be sold at the Furniture Sale on August 6. This event has been a blessing to families in the past, and we want to bless them again this year. 

We’re looking for good condition items such as:

• Sofas (no sectionals)

• Mattress Sets (no kings)

• Bedroom Dressers

• Bed Frames

• Tables

• Chairs

• TV Tables

• Small Kitchen tables that seat 4-6 people

• Small Desks (dorm size)

• Gently used household items such as bed linens, curtain rods, curtains or blinds, fans, and lamps.

Items must be able to fit in a small apartment. We cannot take large items such as entertainment centers or large desks.

Furniture can ONLY be brought in on August 5 from 3p-9p. We prefer you bring your donations directly to the church, but we can arrange pickup if needed.

We need lots of volunteers to make this event happen! 

We need people to help Friday with pickups and cleaning/organizing donations. Saturday, we will need volunteers to help shop, make deliveries and move furniture. If you have a truck, trailer, or box truck and want to drive deliveries, let us know on the form. The Furniture Sale will be on Saturday, August 6, from 9a-12p, with deliveries taking place from 10a-3p.
